Doctor Mihalache graduated in 2000 from University of Medicine "Carol Davila" in Bucharest, Romania and completed her residency training at Conroe Family Medicine Residency Program , rated number one family practice residency program in Texas. She developed special interest in women's health , preventive care and office procedures.

Doctor Mihalache is married and has two daughters; one a sophomore and the other one a 7th grader. They all moved to the area in 2006, attracted by the beauty of the place and peoples.

Her hobbies include spending time with her family, travel and tennis.
